In the 3rd minute, Walid Gomaa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Taimour Deyaa. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Veni Vidi Vici getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gamal Amr hit a great ball. Veni Vidi Vici's Ayoub Kamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mourad Fathy in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Mido Kamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayoub Kamel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Ziyad Ali with Mido Kamel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ayoub Kamel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mourad Fathy went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Walid Gomaa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Walid Gomaa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taimour Deyaa. Al Araby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walid Gomaa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Veni Vidi Vici's goal looked a bit too open when Rabie Mubarak came free, but Ayoub Kamel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rabie Mubarak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayoub Kamel was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walid Gomaa to make the kick off. Walid Gomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Veni Vidi Vici got a freekick which was hit by Mahgoub El-Yamani. After recieving a nice pass, Al Araby FC's Rabie Mubarak tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Ziyad Ali fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Araby FC's protests and gave Ziyad Ali a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Veni Vidi Vici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hashem El-Domani to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabie Mubarak in the 63rd minute of play forced Veni Vidi Vici's goalkeeper Ayoub Kamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hashem El-Domani hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ziyad Ali made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mido Kamel. The crowd rose to their feet as Rabie Mubarak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ayoub Kamel. That made the score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Veni Vidi Vici's zone, Mido Moheb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayoub Kamel came out of the goal and Mido Moheb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayoub Kamel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mourad Fathy in the 81st minute. Mido Moheb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ayoub Kamel came out and tried to block the shot, but Mido Moheb slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 84th minute. Veni Vidi Vici's Ayoub Kamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabie Mubarak in the 92nd minute of play.
