EL-AHLAWY's Ilias Kidonas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Krzysztof Dubiel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. EL-AHLAWY's Ilias Kidonas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeusz Jenkot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Monsef Ramez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Horácio Godoi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of EL-AHLAWY's Tadeusz Jenkot. EL-AHLAWY's Tadeusz Jenkot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirza Memić in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Di Luca in the 78th minute of play forced EL-AHLAWY's goalkeeper Tadeusz Jenkot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to EL-AHLAWY getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tinko Betzinski hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Abdel Monsef Ramez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tadeusz Jenkot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Godoi got free with Tadeusz Jenkot in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
