With a left leg Raido Väester saved Paunkyula from getting behind. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paunkyula's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tom Laanjärv was slow to take the kick. During this time maakad's players had a chance to rest. Raido Väester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Laasik in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Paunkyula's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Laanjärv came free, but Raido Väester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Adolf Kadastu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jüri Hanson. maakad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolf Kadastu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Janno Tõnuri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paunkyula protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Janno Tõnuri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Paunkyula:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of maakad:s goal. 91 minutes into the match, Paunkyula's goalkeeper Raido Väester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Aas. Tom Laanjärv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paunkyula's Raido Väester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Paunkyula from getting a goal against them.
