In the 11th minute, Ervin Veiler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Kalev's Väino Virk didn't even have to move. If Villu Eessaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Villu Eessaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Väino Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eino Rahusoo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Kunnar Ilves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kalev. Thanks to some nice moves Eino Rahusoo could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Kunnar Ilves however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 25 minutes, Eino Rahusoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kalev's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eino Rahusoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Villu Eessaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Väino Virk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villu Eessaar in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes FC Kalev got a freekick which was hit by Kaur Laving. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kalev's goalkeeper Väino Virk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villu Eessaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Väino Virk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Kalle Pärt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Navy Seals were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villu Eessaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Navy Seals's Volli Hõbemägi got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Albert Haab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kunnar Ilves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Navy Seals getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ervin Veiler hit a great ball. Eino Rahusoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Väino Virk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villu Eessaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the game, one of Navy Seals:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for FC Kalev. Joonas Sõnajalg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kunnar Ilves. 2-1. In the 87th match minute, FC Kalev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eino Rahusoo to maneuver through the defense. Väino Virk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villu Eessaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Villu Eessaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Väino Virk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Navy Seals's Taniel Lüdimois nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Väino Virk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
