An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Haiba in the 31st minute of play forced Vasula Geniaalne Tiim's goalkeeper Margus Heinla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Eduard Ööpik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Margus Heinla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jan Haiba, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Margus Heinla was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eduard Ööpik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Margus Heinla having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vasula Geniaalne Tiim's zone, Eduard Ööpik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Margus Heinla came out of the goal and Eduard Ööpik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Haiba in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Margus Heinla saved Vasula Geniaalne Tiim from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jan Haiba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurefer FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Haiba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Margus Heinla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Margus Heinla managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Kurefer FS's Eduard Ööpik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 97 minutes, Jan Haiba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurefer FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Haiba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vasula Geniaalne Tiim fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kurefer FS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
