Jaan Ridal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kaupo Isa made a huge save. When Vaino Harrak came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Katela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaino Harrak couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaspar Naba to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Jaan Ridal made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Katela's Kaupo Isa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 61 minutes, Jaan Ridal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nassin Nuisi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaan Ridal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Katela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaino Harrak to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, SC Nassin Nuisi's Otto Idavain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87th minute Elari Olev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahti Uhtlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaan Ridal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaupo Isa having to interfere.
