Tenno Veider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Aguraiuja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Mendonça in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alari Hea saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Claudinei Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tenno Veider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Aguraiuja in the 34th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Lumiste to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Tauri Olt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alari Hea skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the FC Barcelona defense, Claudinei Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alari Hea. The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alari Hea should have stopped the shot. Trance's Tavo Öeren got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Aron Aguraiuja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Claudinei Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute of the match Tauri Olt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alari Hea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Claudinei Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alari Hea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trance's Claudinei Mendonça in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Trance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
