All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Vyy's Timo Kaljuvee threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kasimir Salmistu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kristjan Aavola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agu Lemmik having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aravete's zone, Volli Raudsoo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timo Kaljuvee came out of the goal and Volli Raudsoo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Uudikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agu Lemmik having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aravete's Andrus Lepist got a free kick in the 88th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vyy's Janek Roosaare tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Volli Raudsoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vyy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
