When Fridrich Sõnapidaja came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fridrich Sõnapidaja couldn't finish the play. Victor Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pio FC booed when Pekhka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Lääne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Fridrich Sõnapidaja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fridrich Sõnapidaja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Pekhka's goal looked a bit too open when Fridrich Sõnapidaja came free, but Kalle Tagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pekhka defense, Victor Ebardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Tagel. The Pekhka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Tagel should have stopped the shot. 0-2 became the score in the 45th minute when Taniel Ott elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fridrich Sõnapidaja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Ebardo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Riivo Paha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pekhka booed when Pio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Ruul didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Pio FC's Kalle Tagel threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Ebardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fridrich Sõnapidaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fridrich Sõnapidaja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Kalle Tagel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ardo Lehemets kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kalle Tagel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Udo Härg. Pio FC's Victor Ebardo managed to work through Pekhka's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Victor Ebardo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Pekhka's zone, Fridrich Sõnapidaja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Tagel came out of the goal and Fridrich Sõnapidaja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Victor Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Tagel having to interfere.
