Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Priidu Kender took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Cuartio in the 3rd minute of play forced Vihterpalu's goalkeeper Gunnar Vene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Atl.Madrid's Gogo Cuartio in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vihterpalu's goalie prevented a goal. Gunnar Vene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roomet Lätte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Priidu Kender came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Vihterpalu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Priidu Kender couldn't finish the play. Hazar Karginalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Priidu Kender's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Roomet Lätte notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vihterpalu's Gunnar Vene. Gunnar Vene was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Vene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Cuartio in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gogo Cuartio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atl.Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Roomet Lätte came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Atl.Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roomet Lätte couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Cuartio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Atl.Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arni Taaber to maneuver through the defense. Roomet Lätte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gunnar Vene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Atl.Madrid's Bo-Erik Sigman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Vene was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gunnar Vene made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Roomet Lätte sent off a good shot on target. Tauno Ülisoo's late challenge caught a Atl.Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauno Ülisoo helped the player get up and apologised. 70 minutes in the game Maido Hansson got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With his leg Gunnar Vene managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Atl.Madrid's Roomet Lätte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Vihterpalu's Gunnar Vene got control of the ball when Roomet Lätte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gogo Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gunnar Vene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roomet Lätte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 77th playminute. With a little luck, Vihterpalu's Gunnar Vene got control of the ball when Roomet Lätte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bo-Erik Sigman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Gunnar Vene skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vihterpalu's Gunnar Vene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vihterpalu from getting a goal against them. Vihterpalu's Gunnar Vene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Cuartio in the 85th minute of play. Gunnar Vene made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roomet Lätte in the 87th minute. After 87 played minutes Vihterpalu got a freekick which was hit by Innar Tohter. Gunnar Vene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Cuartio in the 88th minute of the match. When Roomet Lätte came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Atl.Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roomet Lätte couldn't finish the play.
