The Maakad fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Maakad's Alari Lubi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With a left leg Ago Auru saved spartak from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Maakad's Maido Latt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ago Auru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 44th minute, Ergo Aas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alari Lubi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ago Auru. Ago Auru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ergo Aas to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alari Lubi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Märten Tara kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of spartak booed when Maakad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Märt Viilukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maido Latt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ago Auru was a little too slow when Maido Latt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-7. Alari Lubi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ago Auru made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alari Lubi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maakad's supporters rose to their feet, but Alari Lubi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ago Auru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Maido Latt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ago Auru was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Maakad's Maido Latt got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in spartak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Maakad's Tõnis Stüf shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ago Auru but with some difficulty. Maido Latt struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ago Auru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maakad. In the 94th minute Maido Latt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ago Auru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alari Lubi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 100th play minutes Alari Lubi shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Ago Auru and just under the crossbar into goal.
