Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 15) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bert Vähe got the match started through his kick off. When FC Viking's Bert Vähe in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soomevere's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FC Viking booed when Soomevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Olev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Valdur Hõbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soomevere and the FC Viking players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Soomevere getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Valdur Hõbe hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Olev got free with Mihkel Virumaa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neeme Vari hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jaanus Randmaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihkel Virumaa having to make a save. A collision led to Soomevere getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jaanus Randmaa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bert Vähe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Viking's supporters rose to their feet, but Bert Vähe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Eelmäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bert Vähe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Haav hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaanus Randmaa made a kick off. Soomevere were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Viking's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaido Aulik took the corner. Kaido Aulik shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mihkel Virumaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaanus Randmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Eelmäe came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Viking's Bert Vähe. But to his dismay, Bert Vähe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bert Vähe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Eelmäe having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, FC Viking's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Haav came free, but Mihkel Virumaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Eelmäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neeme Vari in the 79th minute. Artur Eelmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Vähe, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Liis Aavik charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liis Aavik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paavo Veermäe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artur Eelmäe. Soomevere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Albert Haav came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Soomevere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Haav couldn't finish the play. FC Viking's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
