FC Volly's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Mahe's attentive Kaspar Voltri managed to snatch the ball when Peep Vent made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Kaspar Voltri struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mati Roolaid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mahe. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aigar Koov to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Vahtra in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Madis Maa saved FC Mahe from getting behind.
