Kalle Levi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Riesenberg's Raimond Eerik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vambola Saare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vambola Saare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiit Vint in the 25th minute of play. Riho Lusik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Riesenberg defense, Harri Latt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andri Äss. The Riesenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andri Äss should have stopped the shot. Harri Latt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andri Äss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Raimond Eerik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vambola Saare having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, FC Ainus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erki Virks to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tiit Vint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vambola Saare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiit Vint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riho Lusik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andri Äss having to interfere. Riesenberg's Andri Äss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harri Latt in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Antônio Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Harri Latt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ainus's supporters rose to their feet, but Harri Latt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andri Äss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andri Äss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riho Lusik in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Harri Latt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andri Äss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Riho Lusik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ainus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riho Lusik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Ainus's Harri Latt got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harri Latt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Andri Äss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harri Latt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riho Lusik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Harri Latt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andri Äss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harri Latt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FC Ainus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
