Tõnis Mustasaar's late challenge caught a martna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Savisaar got free with Roomet Vanaliin in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roomet Vanaliin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Kuningas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BBS's Roomet Vanaliin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save BBS from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bruno Kuningas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Bruno Kuningas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roomet Vanaliin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Bruno Kuningas made a precise shot to the right of Roomet Vanaliin. BBS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bruno Kuningas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roomet Vanaliin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Kuningas in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Bruno Kuningas put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roomet Vanaliin. 74 minutes into the game, Eldur Vainamäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. martna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BBS the free kick. In the 74th match minute, martna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldur Vainamäe to maneuver through the defense. If Bruno Kuningas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roomet Vanaliin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Savisaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
