In the 16th minute of the match, Heiko Koba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julius Niidumaa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jüri Aalto got free with Julius Niidumaa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Heiko Koba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julius Niidumaa. The goal made the score 2-0. If Roomet Luige had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roomet Luige fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oodo Orumets having to interfere. Neeme Einama struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Oodo Orumets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Linnamäe. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the game, Jüri Aalto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julius Niidumaa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Villu Heinola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Jüri Aalto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Niidumaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes FC Kunnapohja got a freekick which was hit by Indrek Laanelepp. FC Linnamäe's Roomet Luige got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Linnamäe getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Arvo Valgupera hit a great ball. If Heiko Koba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Aron Väärsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Jaak Tenno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Linnamäe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kunnapohja the free kick. In the 88th minute, Jaak Tenno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Jüri Aalto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kunnapohja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. FC Kunnapohja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
