Juhan Taaler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Andri Eelmäe fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC LIVIKO's protests and gave Andri Eelmäe a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of FC LIVIKO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CF Laht:s goal. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, CF Laht's Harri Umal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Juhan Taaler. In the 14th minute Kert Tähismaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agu Raja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henrik Kabonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juhan Taaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simo Roolaht in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC LIVIKO's Ernst Neemoja got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, one of CF Laht:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF Laht. Kert Tähismaa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, CF Laht's Harri Umal got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Jan Paukson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aare Nõgel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jan Paukson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Agu Raja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kert Tähismaa was the one to do the kick off. Agu Raja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Koppel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, CF Laht's Simo Halliste got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of FC LIVIKO booed when CF Laht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allar Juss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match FC LIVIKO got a corner. CF Laht's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Heiko Haljas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Heiko Haljas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agu Raja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 60 minutes into the match, FC LIVIKO's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Ess came free, but Juhan Taaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kert Tähismaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LIVIKO's supporters rose to their feet, but Kert Tähismaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agu Raja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CF Laht's Harri Umal got a free kick in the 71st minute. Juhan Taaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Ess in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Hugo Ess managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Laht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Ess was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Kert Tähismaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LIVIKO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Aare Nõgel's late challenge caught a FC LIVIKO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aare Nõgel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC LIVIKO getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ernst Neemoja hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, CF Laht's Harri Umal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juhan Taaler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CF Laht reached it. The CF Laht support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
