After having played for 21 minutes, Ain Hommuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ain Hommuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehis Muusik in the 24th minute of play forced Paldiski SK's goalkeeper Peedu Lagle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taimo Jalakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

During the 54th minute of the match Enar Parve completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enar Parve a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Agur Indrekson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Taimo Jalakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Paldiski SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyo FC's goalkeeper Mihkel Rammul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Paldiski SK's Hugo Kaljuvee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
