After a rather tough play, Kurista's Kaspar Pett got a free kick in the 12th minute. Eoste SK's Mihkel Aesma got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Leier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ain Lehepuu in the 14th minute. Reino Liivak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Murdza, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Kurista's Holger Leier got control of the ball when Ain Lehepuu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Martinsson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ain Lehepuu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ain Lehepuu made the kick off in the second half. Eoste SK's Reino Liivak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Eoste SK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Kurista defense, Olavi Vabadus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Leier. The Kurista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Leier should have stopped the shot. Robert Kirsipuu struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Reino Liivak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurista. Ain Lehepuu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ain Lehepuu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Holger Leier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavi Vabadus in the 73rd minute of play. Olavi Vabadus's late challenge caught a Kurista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavi Vabadus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eoste SK's Olavi Vabadus got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Murdza in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reino Liivak saved Eoste SK from getting behind. Reino Liivak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janusz Murdza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. Holger Leier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihkel Aesma in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ain Lehepuu in the 95th minute of play forced Kurista's goalkeeper Holger Leier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavi Vabadus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Leier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavi Vabadus in the 97th minute of the match. Kurista's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
