The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enno Aruväli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sulev Kosk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Heino Keskküla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aare Leinatamm kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB's Vahur Ansip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Treial made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB defense, Ingvar Hökqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sulev Kosk. The EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sulev Kosk should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's Nunez Min sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sulev Kosk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Treial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enno Aruväli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB's Sulev Kosk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hökqvist in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Vahur Ansip made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kiur Naaskel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiur Naaskel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sulev Kosk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heino Keskküla kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Nunez Mins short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Sulev Kosk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB's goalkeeper Sulev Kosk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Treial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahur Ansip in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaanus Univer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Vahur Ansip hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Nunez Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulev Kosk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sulev Kosk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vahur Ansip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sulev Kosk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Min in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Ingvar Hökqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sulev Kosk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute, Nunez Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96thth minute of the game Nunez Min who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EESTI RAUDTEE CLUB's Sulev Kosk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manchester United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
