The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Illimar Tajur in the 3rd minute of play forced Vaali's goalkeeper Kristofer Aav to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ander Kiilaspää received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ain Tõnuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ain Tõnuri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janar Kellu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ander Kiilaspää didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 11th minute. Vaali's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saha SK's goalkeeper Ain Tõnuri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Väino Stüf's late challenge caught a Vaali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Väino Stüf helped the player get up and apologised. Ander Kiilaspää sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janar Kellu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ain Tõnuri having to interfere. Vaali's Ander Kiilaspää got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janar Kellu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ain Tõnuri having to make a save. Vaali's Roland Kips shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ain Tõnuri but with some difficulty. When Ander Kiilaspää came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Vaali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ander Kiilaspää couldn't finish the play. Janar Kellu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ain Tõnuri having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Rudolf Nestra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kristofer Aav was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute Rudolf Nestra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Aav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Alvin Ainsaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaali and the Saha SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvin Ainsaar kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ivari Heinmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ain Tõnuri having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saha SK defense, Janar Kellu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ain Tõnuri. The Saha SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ain Tõnuri should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Saha SK's zone, Janar Kellu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ain Tõnuri came out of the goal and Janar Kellu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Nestra got free with Kristofer Aav in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rudolf Nestra scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristofer Aav, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ander Kiilaspää managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaali's supporters rose to their feet, but Ander Kiilaspää was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ain Tõnuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaali's Janar Kellu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vaali's Ander Kiilaspää in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saha SK's goalie prevented a goal. Kristofer Aav didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Illimar Tajur went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Kaspar Lattu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ander Kiilaspää in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ain Tõnuri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ander Kiilaspää's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ain Tõnuri was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Ivari Heinmaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ain Tõnuri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivari Heinmaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Saha SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vaali had controlled the match.
