The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aabel Valk scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ain Tõnuri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raido Aav showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Illimar Tajur in the 8th minute of the match. Illimar Tajur kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Sotkula FC's Raido Aav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Ludri in the 37th minute of play. Raido Aav made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illimar Tajur in the 41st minute of play. Ken Ludri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raido Aav having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Illimar Tajur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raido Aav. Sotkula FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Illimar Tajur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Saha SK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erkki Esken to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Illimar Tajur in the 53rd minute of play forced Sotkula FC's goalkeeper Raido Aav to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sotkula FC's goalkeeper Raido Aav, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Sotkula FC's goal looked a bit too open when Väino Stüf came free, but Raido Aav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Illimar Tajur struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Raido Aav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saha SK. When the final whistle sounded Saha SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sotkula FC.
