Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The long shot by Helger Loik in the 8th minute really tested Teet Isa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When SK Tapa's Eino Kärson, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SK Tapa. Juss Lõhmus charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juss Lõhmus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Juss Lõhmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eino Kärson in the 19th minute of play forced Saassaare JK's goalkeeper Timo Kaldmaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timo Kaldmaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vambola Maidsaar in the 21st minute of the match. Timo Kaldmaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eino Kärson in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Vambola Maidsaar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Tapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Vambola Maidsaar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Kaldmaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timo Kaldmaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vambola Maidsaar in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Saassaare JK got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Raimets. After a defensive mix-up in Saassaare JK's zone, Vambola Maidsaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timo Kaldmaa came out of the goal and Vambola Maidsaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saassaare JK's Timo Kaldmaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eino Kärson in the 32nd minute of play. Jörgen Raimets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Isa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arvo Lind to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvo Lind in the 54th minute of play forced SK Tapa's goalkeeper Teet Isa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teet Isa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvo Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Saassaare JK got a freekick which was hit by Arvo Lind. If Vambola Maidsaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eino Kärson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75thth minute of the game Samuel Voit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Tapa's Teet Isa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arvo Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Isa having to interfere. If Arvo Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saassaare JK's Samuel Voit got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
