After a defensive mix-up in Liikva SK's zone, Kardo Mahlapuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janari Raudsoo came out of the goal and Kardo Mahlapuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kardo Mahlapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janari Raudsoo having to interfere. Rain Eenmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eikki Stroom having to interfere. If Andres Sauna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 30 in the game by Kardo Mahlapuu from a close distance when the talented Janari Raudsoo managed to make a qualified save. Liikva SK's players were relieved. Janari Raudsoo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kardo Mahlapuu in the 36th minute. Fc Nõmme United's Egon Rist got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janari Raudsoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Rist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rain Eenmaa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Liikva SK's Rain Eenmaa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 57th minute, Andres Sauna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kardo Mahlapuu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Egon Rist fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Nõmme United's protests and gave Egon Rist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Egon Rist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andres Sauna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janari Raudsoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Rist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Kardo Mahlapuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Janari Raudsoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janari Raudsoo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egon Rist's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
