The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Puurmani FS's Kris Üürike proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Puurmani FS from getting a goal against them. Kaarel Tihkan lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puurmani FS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Herbert Tilk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 12th minute Mati Judin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kris Üürike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jass Latikas might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anti Lember. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jass Latikas ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Puurmani FS booed when Pillapalu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ando Vahher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuldar Künnapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anti Lember having to interfere. Anti Lember took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jass Latikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pillapalu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kalvi Videvik hit a great ball. Kuldar Künnapuu's late challenge caught a Pillapalu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuldar Künnapuu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pillapalu booed when Puurmani FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuldar Künnapuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Pillapalu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peep Silm to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pillapalu's Ando Vahher got a free kick in the 37th minute. Kris Üürike didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerd Auväärt went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th match minute, Puurmani FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Karu to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jass Latikas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Pillapalu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peep Silm to maneuver through the defense. Kris Üürike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Auväärt in the 68th minute of the match. Puurmani FS's Kris Üürike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalvi Videvik in the 70th minute of play. When Kuldar Künnapuu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Puurmani FS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuldar Künnapuu couldn't finish the play. Anti Lember made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jass Latikas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Puurmani FS's Kuldar Künnapuu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Mati Judin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Üürike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Auväärt in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Puurmani FS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kuldar Künnapuu hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play, Pillapalu's Gerd Auväärt made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kris Üürike was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Kalvi Videvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillapalu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalvi Videvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kris Üürike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anti Lember made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Jass Latikas sent off a good shot on target. When Mati Judin came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Pillapalu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mati Judin couldn't finish the play.
