Gunnar Kundla charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Kundla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hummuli getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gunnar Kundla hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hummuli's zone, Uno Nõgel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martti Tuul came out of the goal and Uno Nõgel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kuido Maidsaar hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Hummuli's goal looked a bit too open when Asko Õnnepalu came free, but Martti Tuul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PP Deliirium's Sander Kuusemetsa got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elar Aalto during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PP Deliirium booed when Hummuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elar Aalto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Asko Õnnepalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes PP Deliirium got a freekick which was hit by Martin Arumeel. Tom Õlle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Väino Alango. PP Deliirium's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Väino Alango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rando Allik in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, PP Deliirium's goalkeeper Väino Alango had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eimar Varm. In the 28th minute, Sander Kuusemetsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, PP Deliirium's Erki Veiderma got a free kick in the 31st minute. PP Deliirium's Väino Alango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rando Allik in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Asko Õnnepalu managed to get in a good position for a shot. PP Deliirium's supporters rose to their feet, but Asko Õnnepalu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martti Tuul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hummuli's zone, Uno Nõgel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martti Tuul came out of the goal and Uno Nõgel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asko Õnnepalu made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Hummuli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Uno Nõgel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Asko Õnnepalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eimar Varm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Väino Alango having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Asko Õnnepalu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PP Deliirium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asko Õnnepalu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asko Õnnepalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uno Nõgel got free with Martti Tuul in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Väino Alango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rando Allik in the 96th minute of the match. PP Deliirium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
