When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Evert Sanglepp put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Erni Ärm. Spraays's Samuel Vooglaid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimo Ait in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Sanglepp got free with Erni Ärm in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Spraays's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Rõõmussaar came free, but Samuel Vooglaid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spraays's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiur Kurvits was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Vooglaid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Luuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erni Ärm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allar Udal went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Evert Sanglepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Erni Ärm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ainar Teraväe kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Sanglepp in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erni Ärm saved Otiaru FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Otiaru FC's goalkeeper Erni Ärm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Otiaru FC's Asko Randveer got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Allar Udal made a precise shot to the right of Erni Ärm. Otiaru FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Sanglepp in the 72nd minute of play forced Otiaru FC's goalkeeper Erni Ärm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
