FC Linnamäe's Aigar Hõbemägi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC AlRight. After a rather tough play, FC AlRight's Arvi Vool got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alvar Nestra struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Urmas Ladva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC AlRight. If Peep Palk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Toomas Liiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Linnamäe and the FC AlRight players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, Alvar Nestra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Linnamäe's Urmas Ladva. Urmas Ladva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvar Nestra struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, FC Linnamäe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toomas Liiva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC AlRight's Rasmus Jõeäär got a free kick in the 21st minute. Uku Übi in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Uku Übi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmo Alasoo having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Linnamäe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for FC AlRight. Juss Jõgis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Urmas Ladva. 1-2.

The wind increased when Peep Palk made the kick off in the second half. Arnold Ansip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Urmo Alasoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uku Übi in the 56th minute of play forced FC AlRight's goalkeeper Urmo Alasoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC AlRight's zone, Arnold Ansip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmo Alasoo came out of the goal and Arnold Ansip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uku Übi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmo Alasoo having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Toivo Aruniit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC AlRight were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after FC Linnamäe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juss Jõgis took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Peep Palk to score against Urmas Ladva in FC Linnamäe's goal. 1-3 after 82 minutes. FC AlRight's Urmo Alasoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toivo Aruniit in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Linnamäe's zone, Alvar Nestra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Ladva came out of the goal and Alvar Nestra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alvar Nestra managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC AlRight's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Nestra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmas Ladva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC AlRight supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC AlRight would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
