Olari Rajamäe charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Siim Tomat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Koppelmaa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jilaste's zone, Rasmus Vedu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rein Lipp came out of the goal and Rasmus Vedu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rein Lipp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joosep Pajur, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Siim Tomat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jilaste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siim Tomat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Siim Tomat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jilaste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Division the free kick. Siim Tomat kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Joosep Pajur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rein Lipp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volli Lessel got free with Hannes Koppelmaa in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Division's zone, Olari Rajamäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Koppelmaa came out of the goal and Olari Rajamäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jilaste's Lembit Nilbe got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Volli Lessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Division were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joosep Pajur was the one to do the kick off. Rein Lipp made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Rasmus Vedu sent off a good shot on target. Rasmus Vedu scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Lipp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Division's goalkeeper Hannes Koppelmaa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Volli Lessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Nigula hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Siim Tomat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Joosep Pajur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rein Lipp. Joosep Pajur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Division walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
