When Mehis Aavakivi came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Syare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehis Aavakivi couldn't finish the play. When Kuido Ülesoo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Syare FC fans jumped to their feet. Bert Sulg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veiko Rillo having to interfere. Kuido Ülesoo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Holger Olumets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syare FC. Lennart Jaanovits kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A hard shot by Asko Hunt from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Holger Olumets's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Mehis Aavakivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Olumets was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehis Aavakivi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Master Footballers's Elmo Lame made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veiko Rillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Syare FC's Mehis Aavakivi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Holger Olumets. That made the score 3-1 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elmo Lame made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Bert Sulg from a close distance when the talented Veiko Rillo managed to make a qualified save. Syare FC's players were relieved. Veiko Rillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmo Lame in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Rauno Aps sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Syare FC's Veiko Rillo didn't even have to move. Bert Sulg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Veiko Rillo made a huge save. In the 66th minute Elmo Lame shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veiko Rillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmo Lame was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Master Footballers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avo Õispuu during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Syare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avo Õispuu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Bert Sulg put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Veiko Rillo. In the 81st minute Elmo Lame shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veiko Rillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mehis Aavakivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lennart Jaanovits fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Master Footballers's protests and gave Lennart Jaanovits a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Master Footballers got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Jaanovits. With a little luck, Syare FC's Veiko Rillo got control of the ball when Bert Sulg tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Master Footballers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Syare FC.
