The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Kuno Raasuke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toomas Kaljundi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Raidur kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Amancio Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Jaanus Koidu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toomas Kaljundi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Erkki Nõmmoja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Amancio Santio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Pherby's Erki Traks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ralf Talv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Ardo Vananurm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erki Traks skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute Hando Rehepap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toomas Kaljundi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jann Hirv fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Pherby's protests and gave Jann Hirv a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK patrioot getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eimar Olt hit a great ball. Toomas Kaljundi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hando Rehepap, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, one of JK Pherby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Santio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erki Traks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ralf Talv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hando Rehepap's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toomas Kaljundi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play.

The wind increased when Amancio Santio made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in JK Pherby's zone, Ralf Talv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erki Traks came out of the goal and Ralf Talv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ardo Vananurm lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of SK patrioot:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JK Pherby:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for JK Pherby. Uno Vilborn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toomas Kaljundi. 1-1. Andro Nestra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erki Traks having to interfere. Toomas Kaljundi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hando Rehepap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes JK Pherby got a freekick which was hit by Maarek Hommik. After 67 played minutes SK patrioot got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Talv. When Andro Nestra fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK patrioot's protests and gave Andro Nestra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SK patrioot's Andro Nestra got a free kick in the 69th minute. Amancio Santio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erki Traks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Amancio Santio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tavo Kadajas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SK patrioot players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
