Kuressaare Korsaarid's Henri Mõniste got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihkel Kartau might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ragnar Mees. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihkel Kartau ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Joga Bonito FC booed when Kuressaare Korsaarid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Priidu Lõiv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joosep Trump took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Mõniste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joga Bonito FC's Koit Kasendi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuressaare Korsaarid were furious when Lembitu Heinola was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kuressaare Korsaarid! Joosep Trump made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Mõniste in the 27th minute of play. If Koit Kasendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koit Kasendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peeter Põhjala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ragnar Mees having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Mõniste in the 37th minute of play forced Joga Bonito FC's goalkeeper Joosep Trump to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peeter Põhjala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ragnar Mees tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joosep Trump came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kuressaare Korsaarid's Priidu Lõiv. But to his dismay, Priidu Lõiv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koit Kasendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mait Hommuk charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mait Hommuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Mait Hommuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joosep Trump made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henri Mõniste in the 59th minute. Ragnar Mees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peeter Põhjala in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Kuressaare Korsaarid's goal looked a bit too open when Koit Kasendi came free, but Ragnar Mees reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Henri Mõniste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuressaare Korsaarid's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Mõniste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joosep Trump breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehis Kroon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ennu Eha charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Despite being the better team, Kuressaare Korsaarid failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
