Laur Kirsimäe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tauno Just stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Villem Lehto's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in APC's zone, Villem Lehto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tauno Just came out of the goal and Villem Lehto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hardi Roht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tauno Just tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, APC's Sulev Haiba got a free kick in the 20th minute. Vahur Kalle hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Uuno Liiva lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Kalesi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of APC:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for APC. Laur Kirsimäe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raul Kasendi. 0-1. Kalle Raadel scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Kasendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hardi Roht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kalesi FC's Tiit Värk in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye APC's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Kalesi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Voldemar Lokko came free, but Raul Kasendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tiit Värk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hardi Roht was the one to do the kick off. Tiit Värk struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tauno Just didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalesi FC. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind APC's goalkeeper Tauno Just, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vahur Kalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauno Just having to interfere. In the 60th minute Kalle Raadel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Kasendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalesi FC's Raul Kasendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kalesi FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Tiit Värk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Lepist struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Raul Kasendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APC. Kalesi FC's Raul Kasendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Raadel in the 70th minute of play. Hardi Roht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauno Just having to interfere. Tauno Just took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardi Roht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Ando Lahe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laur Kirsimäe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Raul Kasendi made a huge save. Tiit Värk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tauno Just read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Tiit Värk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalesi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiit Värk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauno Just breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hardi Roht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tauno Just tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
