Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aksel Põlluste took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jaagup Kalvik came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Azeri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaagup Kalvik couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, FC Vandra's Peeter Vahtramäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veiko Kaljumäe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Jaagup Kalvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azeri FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaagup Kalvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilmar Reismaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilmar Reismaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaagup Kalvik in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ernst Noor made a precise shot to the right of Ilmar Reismaa. FC Vandra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Aivar Veskis in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Vandra's Ergo Kaldmaa. Ilmar Reismaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaagup Kalvik in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Vandra defense, Jaagup Kalvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilmar Reismaa. The FC Vandra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilmar Reismaa should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Azeri FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Noor. Veiko Kaljumäe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuido Loome went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Ergo Kaldmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Aivar Veskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Valdek Nöps sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Veiko Kaljumäe skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Noor during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Azeri FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Noor. FC Vandra's Ilmar Reismaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksel Põlluste in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Vandra's Kuido Loome got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jaagup Kalvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ilmar Reismaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kuido Loome managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vandra's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuido Loome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veiko Kaljumäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ergo Kaldmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aivar Veskis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Aksel Põlluste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ergo Kaldmaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veiko Kaljumäe having to make a save. When Ergo Kaldmaa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Vandra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ergo Kaldmaa couldn't finish the play. Peeter Vahtramäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veiko Kaljumäe having to interfere. If Peeter Vahtramäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Azeri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ergo Kaldmaa came free, but Veiko Kaljumäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aksel Põlluste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilmar Reismaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A hard shot 97 in the game by Jaagup Kalvik from a close distance when the talented Ilmar Reismaa managed to make a qualified save. FC Vandra's players were relieved. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Vandra lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
