The Haavametsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volli Karuse should have stopped the shot. Rakvere Tarvas's Siim Eesik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Ahnus in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Avo Pilvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haavametsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakvere Tarvas the free kick. In the 18th minute, Avo Pilvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rakvere Tarvas's zone, Avo Pilvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siim Eesik came out of the goal and Avo Pilvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Kasimir Vananurm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rakvere Tarvas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haavametsa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rakvere Tarvas's Kasimir Vananurm got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Uuno Nuka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 minutes of play, Rakvere Tarvas's Bahri Orak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volli Karuse was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Uuno Nuka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Volli Karuse, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Bahri Orak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volli Karuse was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Uuno Nuka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peder Kjellqvist got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Volli Karuse handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mikk Marts kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Rakvere Tarvas's Rene Onnu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volli Karuse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Uuno Nuka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volli Karuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uuno Nuka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Bahri Orak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Volli Karuse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siim Eesik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Ahnus in the 83rd minute of the match. If Uuno Nuka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
