But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaino Pihl couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Tanel Allik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiur Koba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harri Aluste, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timo Vessmann in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Märt Saareoja saved FC Põlva PiimaKombinaat from getting behind.
