Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mati Karuse took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ateniidi's zone, Mihkel Tajur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arni Paabo came out of the goal and Mihkel Tajur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Ateniidi's Osvald Onnu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Lass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karlya's Mark Lass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Karlya from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Jaak Valdma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arni Paabo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvald Onnu got free with Mark Lass in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Karlya's Risto Rodin got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ateniidi's Aivar Toomes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Karlya. When Ateniidi's Mati Karuse in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karlya's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Villem Kink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karlya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ateniidi the free kick. With an all-out effort, Ateniidi's Mark Lass threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mati Karuse, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihkel Tajur in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arni Paabo saved Ateniidi from getting behind. Villem Kink hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihkel Tajur to strike the kick off in the second half. Mihkel Tajur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Arni Paabo made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karlya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Ateniidi's Mati Karuse got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Lass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mati Karuse in the 66th minute of play. Mihkel Tajur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Ateniidi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Kraut to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Osvald Onnu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlya's Mihkel Tajur got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Ago Vaas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karlya and the Ateniidi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karlya's Mark Lass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Onnu in the 91st minute of play. Mati Karuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mati Karuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
