Nicu Gonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaak Valdma, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mark Lass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michael Jeremies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Jeremies spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Karlya's goal. Eevald Kalkun might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Lass. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eevald Kalkun ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Jakob Oese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karlya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Pärnu Vaprus the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Karlya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Oese to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaak Valdma was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Karlya got a freekick which was hit by Jaak Valdma. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Henri Oll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Aivar Erapart scored to the left of an out of position Mark Lass, making the score, 1-3. Moritz Staubach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mark Lass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, JK Pärnu Vaprus's Aivar Erapart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Lass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Aivar Erapart notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Karlya's Mark Lass. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Karlya's Mark Lass got control of the ball when Aivar Erapart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aivar Erapart struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. After 78 minutes, Henri Oll made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Karlya's Mark Lass tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Karlya got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Oese. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karlya's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aivar Erapart was slow to take the kick. During this time JK Pärnu Vaprus's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Eevald Kalkun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Lass was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Aivar Erapart scored 1-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Lass, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karlya's Mark Lass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Staubach in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Henri Oll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Lass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Lass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henri Oll's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
