Gert Mahlamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Arman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Evald Aal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Arman in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Devil Bats's goalkeeper Gert Mahlamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evald Aal struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gert Mahlamaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kesu JK. If Evald Aal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argo Orupõld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmut Kesa in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siim Riiga during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Kesu JK got a freekick which was hit by Siim Riiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Arman in the 45th minute of play forced FC Devil Bats's goalkeeper Gert Mahlamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evald Aal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gert Mahlamaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elmut Kesa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gert Mahlamaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaanus Ansip in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Marek Arman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Evald Aal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Mahlamaa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Arman in the 61st minute of play forced FC Devil Bats's goalkeeper Gert Mahlamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Arman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argo Orupõld came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Devil Bats's Elmut Kesa. But to his dismay, Elmut Kesa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Elmut Kesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Argo Orupõld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elmut Kesa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Argo Orupõld read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Arman in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Mahlamaa saved FC Devil Bats from getting behind. Elmut Kesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argo Orupõld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmut Kesa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siim Riiga was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC Devil Bats booed when Kesu JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siim Riiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argo Orupõld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eedi Rõõmussaar in the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Devil Bats's Gert Mahlamaa got control of the ball when Evald Aal tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Devil Bats's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Evald Aal scored to the left of an out of position Gert Mahlamaa, making the score, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kesu JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
