After 3 played minutes Zelta Zilonis FC got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Jaani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Jaani in the 10th minute of play forced Lua's goalkeeper Ermo Ojaperv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zelta Zilonis FC's Hannes Aader got a free kick in the 14th minute. Zelta Zilonis FC were furious when Margus Veispak was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 19 minutes into the game, one of Zelta Zilonis FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ronald Täll, was totally fooled by Lua's Samuel Heinmaa, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A hard shot 26 in the game by Neeme Loodus from a close distance when the talented Ronald Täll managed to make a qualified save. Zelta Zilonis FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Kaido Hõlpus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lua's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaido Hõlpus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Täll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lua booed when Zelta Zilonis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Aader didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermo Ojaperv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Jaani in the 30th minute of the match. Neeme Loodus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Virsa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zelta Zilonis FC booed when Lua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Virsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Jaani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermo Ojaperv having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Kaarel Haan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ermo Ojaperv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zelta Zilonis FC's Andris Karja got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Heinmaa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hubert Jaanis short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Ermo Ojaperv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hannes Aader struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ermo Ojaperv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelta Zilonis FC. After a rather tough play, Lua's Robert Virsa got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ermo Ojaperv came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Zelta Zilonis FC's Hubert Jaani. But to his dismay, Hubert Jaani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hubert Jaani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Zelta Zilonis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Neeme Loodus came free, but Ronald Täll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zelta Zilonis FC's Albert Rõõmussaar got a free kick in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Lua's goalkeeper Ermo Ojaperv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubert Jaani. Neeme Loodus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ronald Täll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Täll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neeme Loodus, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
