Evald Verk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tõnis Värk. Kukruse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Kukruse's Tõnis Värk got control of the ball when Hubert Jaani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gert Liit struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tõnis Värk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelta Zilonis FC. Hubert Jaani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tõnis Värk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tõnn Sauna to strike the kick off in the second half. Kukruse's Tõnis Värk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Liit in the 57th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Hubert Jaani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Zelta Zilonis FC booed when Kukruse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Kaljus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Jaani took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tõnis Värk. Tõnis Värk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tõnis Värk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Liit in the 71st minute of play. When Hubert Jaani fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelta Zilonis FC's protests and gave Hubert Jaani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Zelta Zilonis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Jaani to maneuver through the defense. Gert Liit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
