Adam Ratulowski made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Agur Martsepp sent off a good shot on target. Jaan Rääk charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaan Rääk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaan Rääk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Endel Ärsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jan Aar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ken Kaljumäe sped through FC Peenu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Aar. 21 minutes into the game, FS Eapere's Ken Kaljumäe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Aar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sulev Õmblus's late challenge caught a FS Eapere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sulev Õmblus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Sulev Õmblus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ken Kaljumäe sped through FC Peenu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Aar. In the 29th minute, Egon Aun made a precise shot to the right of Jan Aar. FC Peenu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 33 minutes into the match, Ken Kaljumäe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Aar. FC Peenu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ken Kaljumäe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 38th minute, Karl Rääbis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FS Eapere were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ken Naarits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Endel Ärsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jan Aar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FS Eapere's goal looked a bit too open when Agur Martsepp came free, but Adam Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ken Kaljumäe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Aar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Endel Ärsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jan Aar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FS Eapere's Roland Volberg was substituted for Endel Ärsis. In the 94th minute, Agur Martsepp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Peenu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The FS Eapere players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
