Kiur Abel might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egert Kalvik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kiur Abel ran back to his position shaking his head. Nike Rakvere's Egert Kalvik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Nike Rakvere from getting a goal against them. Jürgen Ahja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raivo Ülevain in the 16th minute of play. Jürgen Ahja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaimo Hommik in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Nike Rakvere's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Poltimäe came free, but Egert Kalvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Ailar Lüdimõis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egert Kalvik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41st minute, Kaimo Hommik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Kaimo Hommik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nike Rakvere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaimo Hommik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ailar Lüdimõis made a kick off. Roland Haiba charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Haiba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Roland Haiba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nike Rakvere's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 53rd minute of the game, when Hannes Viigipuu after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Torken SK's goal. Hannes Viigipuu was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 58th minute Kiur Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egert Kalvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jürgen Ahja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaimo Hommik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Ailar Lüdimõis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Egert Kalvik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaimo Hommik in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jürgen Ahja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Kaimo Hommik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jürgen Ahja, 1-1. Helger Kaldmaa's late challenge caught a Torken SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helger Kaldmaa helped the player get up and apologised. Torken SK's Joosep Kont couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nike Rakvere. Jürgen Ahja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaimo Hommik, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Torken SK's zone, Hannes Viigipuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jürgen Ahja came out of the goal and Hannes Viigipuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torken SK's Jürgen Ahja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaimo Hommik in the 92nd minute of play. Torken SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nike Rakvere had controlled the match.
