Egert Kalvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivari Karuauk in the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc . Barcelona's Kalle Talu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egert Kalvik. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. Nike Rakvere's Kaimo Hommik got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kaimo Hommik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaimo Hommik to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Kalle Talu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc . Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Raimond Lepist charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kaimo Hommik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Madis Martsepp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc . Barcelona's goalkeeper Madis Martsepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Nike Rakvere got a freekick which was hit by Raivo Ülevain. Fc . Barcelona's Madis Martsepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaimo Hommik in the 80th minute of play. Madis Martsepp made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Raivo Ülevain sent off a good shot on target. Ivari Karuauk hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kaimo Hommik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Madis Martsepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Elmu Väljaste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nike Rakvere's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmu Väljaste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Madis Martsepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Kaimo Hommik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Madis Martsepp. The goal made the score 2-2. Nike Rakvere were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
