A collision led to Kounda getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ergo Eidast hit a great ball. Jakob Raik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mairo Rõõmussaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tom Ani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mairo Rõõmussaar took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Ani. Tom Ani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Yalase's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kaijo Intel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elmo Anderson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaijo Intel in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Raik made a kick off. Tom Ani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paavo Hinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tom Ani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Hinn in the 54th minute of play. When Paavo Hinn came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Yalase fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paavo Hinn couldn't finish the play. Kounda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Raik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Raik in the 73rd minute of play forced Yalase's goalkeeper Elmo Anderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Ani made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mairo Rõõmussaar sent off a good shot on target. Jakob Raik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jakob Raik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute.
