Neeme Aas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilmar Allik having to interfere. Asko Konsa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Taimo Hallast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Jalakas having to interfere. Kaur Vollmers short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Bert Jalakas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Taimo Hallast got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Taimo Hallast managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mae FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taimo Hallast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bert Jalakas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Osvald Kuusemetsa fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orisaare's protests and gave Osvald Kuusemetsa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orisaare getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Osvald Kuusemetsa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaur Vollmer in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bert Jalakas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taimo Hallast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnold Aavasalu during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnold Aavasalu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Orisaare's Bert Jalakas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaur Vollmer in the 41st minute of play. Ilmar Allik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neeme Aas in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Taimo Hallast managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mae FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taimo Hallast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bert Jalakas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Taimo Hallast got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaur Vollmer to make the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Ernst Pahasoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orisaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Pahasoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Neeme Aas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Orisaare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neeme Aas couldn't finish the play. Asko Konsa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ilmar Allik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neeme Aas in the 70th minute. Taimo Hallast blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bert Jalakas having to make a save. Kaur Vollmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bert Jalakas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kaur Vollmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Asko Konsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mae FC had won after a very even match.
