An unexpectedly hard shot by August Lehtmets in the 13th minute of play forced Pihnurme's goalkeeper Kaspar Kikerpill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Detlef Holtum during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rain Virkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leif Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that August Lehtmets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaspar Kikerpill was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Pihnurme:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kusjuk:s goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for FC Kusjuk. August Lehtmets stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kaspar Kikerpill. 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Pihnurme's goal looked a bit too open when August Lehtmets came free, but Kaspar Kikerpill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, August Lehtmets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kusjuk's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Lehtmets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pihnurme players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kusjuk were winning 0-3.

Tom Kööp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Pihnurme's goal looked a bit too open when August Lehtmets came free, but Kaspar Kikerpill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaspar Kikerpill came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kusjuk's August Lehtmets. But to his dismay, August Lehtmets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 66 minutes into the match, FC Kusjuk's August Lehtmets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaspar Kikerpill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaspar Kikerpill stood somewhat misplaced when August Lehtmets came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 68 minute. August Lehtmets hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. FC Kusjuk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by August Lehtmets in the 79th minute. The corner ended in August Lehtmets almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pihnurme's Kaspar Kikerpill did a great save. August Lehtmets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kaspar Kikerpill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Kusjuk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kusjuk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
