Dan Kasemaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kalju Klaasen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Ani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aapo Käbin in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Krabi's goalkeeper Valdo Ani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Krabi's zone, Aapo Käbin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Ani came out of the goal and Aapo Käbin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Olev Kodu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Ani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Aapo Käbin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Ani. Krabi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aapo Käbin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anton Kaldur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olev Kodu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Ani having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helger Veetamm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Sõmeru SK's Aapo Käbin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdo Ani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aapo Käbin in the 60th minute of play forced Krabi's goalkeeper Valdo Ani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Aapo Käbin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Anton Kaldur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdo Ani, 0-3. The corner led Sõmeru SK's Thiago Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdo Ani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Aapo Käbin took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Valdo Ani to make any attempt to save it. If Aapo Käbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olev Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sõmeru SK's Anton Kaldur got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sõmeru SK's Helmut Ariva got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sõmeru SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
