When Rait Kuuskmäe came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Kilksama JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rait Kuuskmäe couldn't finish the play. Mairo Keskrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahto Voormansik in the 30th minute. Hannes Narusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meelis Lehtmäe in the 36th minute of play forced Kilksama JK's goalkeeper Mairo Keskrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Puujalg booed when Kilksama JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Laat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Valmar Ernits was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Puujalg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilksama JK the free kick. After 87 minutes of play, Kilksama JK's Hannes Narusson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hardi Voolaid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Hardi Voolaid successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Puujalg's zone, Hannes Narusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardi Voolaid came out of the goal and Hannes Narusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
