Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) FC Puujalg's Meelis Lehtmäe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When FC Defender's Priidu Agar in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Puujalg's goalie prevented a goal. Veiko Härg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Defender getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lennart Varendi hit a great ball. Kusti Puusepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meelis Lehtmäe in the 11th minute of play. Ahto Voormansik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kusti Puusepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, FC Defender's goal looked a bit too open when Meelis Lehtmäe came free, but Kusti Puusepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ahto Voormansik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Puujalg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahto Voormansik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kusti Puusepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Defender getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rauno Uluk hit a great ball. Ahto Voormansik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kusti Puusepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, FC Defender's Veiko Härg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hardi Voolaid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Priidu Agar might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hardi Voolaid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Priidu Agar ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Puujalg's Hardi Voolaid got control of the ball when Veiko Härg tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After 51 minutes, Rauno Uluk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Defender and the FC Puujalg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Rauno Uluk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Priidu Agar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Puujalg's Hardi Voolaid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veiko Härg in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veiko Härg in the 64th minute of play forced FC Puujalg's goalkeeper Hardi Voolaid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Priidu Agar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Puujalg's Hardi Voolaid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Puujalg getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tanel Kosemaa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Priidu Agar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hardi Voolaid saved FC Puujalg from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Ahto Voormansik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Defender's Kusti Puusepp. Kusti Puusepp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahto Voormansik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Ahto Voormansik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Priidu Agar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Priidu Agar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Priidu Agar might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hardi Voolaid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Priidu Agar ran back to his position shaking his head. The FC Puujalg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Puujalg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
